How to Get Witch Ingredients

Unlike last year’s Fischfright event, to get Witch Ingredients this year, you must speak with Goblins and complete their tasks! Upon completing these minor tasks (they’re all pretty easy and quick to do), the Goblin then gives you a Witch Ingredient, which you can then take back to Crook’s Hallow to place into the Witch’s Cauldron.

The amount of Witch Ingredients you put into the Cauldron determines which rewards you get. The last reward requires 250 Witch Ingredients! If you don’t know how many Witch Ingredients you’ve put into the Cauldron so far, you can speak with the Witch NPC (also known as Beatrix) to check.

Last year, Witch Ingredients spawned in random locations, which were stated in the in-game chat box. I much prefer the obtainment method of Fischfright 2025!

Where Do the Goblins Spawn?

Now, for the Goblins, you need to keep an eye on the in-game chat. In the chat box, there will be a server-wide message which lets you know where a Goblin has spawned. As their locations on each island are random, you can look out for their glowing outline as you explore.

Once you find a Goblin, speak with them to unlock the task. These tasks are easy, for example, ‘climb 50 Studs upwards’ or ‘say Goblins Rule 3 times’. There is no way of predicting when or where each Goblin will spawn. Some players report that it can span anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour.
