Now, as mentioned above, you can only get the Zombie Shark at Mount Hallow. However, there is no specific location within Mount Hallow for the Zombie Shark to spawn. You can fish in any spot around the island to be in with a chance of getting the Zombie Shark.

How to Catch the Zombie Shark

You have a 1 in 250,000 chance of catching the Zombie Shark. It’s super rare, but not as rare as the Blood Moon Whale, which has a 1 in 5 million chance! Since the Zombie Shark is a Secret rarity catch, it’s not as easy to get as you might think.

The only way of getting the Zombie Shark, apart from fishing at Mount Hallow, is by using a strong fishing rod. There are also bobbers and enchants that you can utilise to help increase your chances of catching rarer fish.

It’s best to use a fishing rod with a strong Luck stat, as the higher the Luck, the more likely you are to get rarer fish. Other stats matter too, but if the Luck stat is too low, then you’re chances of getting the Zombie Shark are much lower.
