Frequently Asked Questions

How Do We Rank Each Armor Piece?

The armor system in The Forge is unique in the sense that the strength of a piece depends entirely on which materials you use and how well you did during the forging minigame.

Because of this, it’s practically impossible to rank every potential armor piece. So, instead, we’ve ranked each type of armor piece, such as Light Armor, Medium Armor, and Heavy Armor. These categories are then split into Helmets, Chestplates, and Leggings.

Taking materials and craftsmanship out of the equation, there are armor pieces that are much better than others due to HP buffs and base DEF stats.

How to Get Armor in The Forge

To obtain armor, you need to forge it! With the ores you collect when mining, you can head to a forge to start the crafting minigame. Depending on how many pieces of ore you use, and which types of ore you include, the quality, stats, and strength of the armor piece differ.
