The Kokushibo melee spec takes inspiration from the Demon Slayer franchise. It’s one of the latest fighting styles to be added to Sailor Piece, with an abundance of others to choose from. Another addition is the new Power System, which requires plenty of Power Shards.

Sailor Piece Kokushibo

Kokushibo is officially referred to as Moon Slayer in Sailor Piece for both the boss and melee spec. Find out where I’ve ranked this spec in my Sailor Piece Melee Tier List.

How to Unlock the Kokushibo Melee Spec

After you collect the required items listed below, you need to teleport to Boss Island to find the Kokushibo (Moon Slayer) NPC.

  • 9x Lunar Essence
    • 9.15% chance to drop from the Moon Slayer boss
  • 16x Demon Remnants
    • 26.48% chance to drop from the Moon Slayer boss
  • 4x Crescent Shards
    • 2.09% chance to drop from the Moon Slayer boss
  • 1x Moon Crest
    • 0.88% chance to drop from the Moon Slayer boss
  • 25x Upper Seals
    • Has a chance to drop from any NPC in the game
      • Higher chance to drop when defeating high-level enemies (Lawless Island)
  • Six Eyed Demon (Title)
    • Chance to drop from the Moon Slayer boss
  • 37.5K Gems

How to Get Upper Seals

Like many items in Sailor Piece, the Legendary rarity Upper Seals are a potential drop from any NPC in the game. As always, farming enemies of a higher level increases your chances of rare items dropping. The highest-level enemies are currently located on Lawless Island. However, this will most likely change once a new island is added in a future update.

Unlocking the F Ability

Obtaining the F ability for melee specs is almost as important as unlocking the spec itself. For Kokushibo, you need to find the NPC called ‘Slayer F Move Mastery’ who resides on Boss Island. He’s on top of the hand sculpture that has its palm facing the ground.

The unlock requirements are:

  • 2x Moon Crest
    • Drops from the Moon Slayer boss fight
  • 85x Upper Seals
    • Drops from all NPCs
      • Farming high-level NPCs is recommended
  • 10x Crescent Shards
    • Drops from the Moon Slayer boss fight
  • Upper (Clan)
    • This clan is of the Legendary rarity and is obtained via Clan Rerolls
    • Buffs:
      • Melee DMG +12%
      • DMG +40%
      • Maximum HP +50%
      • Luck +12%
    • Passive:
      • For every skill used, you have a 20% chance of dealing 25% more DMG for 8 seconds
  • Moon Slayer (Melee Spec)
    • Obtainment method detailed above

How to Summon the Kokushibo Boss

To summon the Kokushibo boss, also known as Moon Slayer in-game, you need a few items beforehand. The number of Upper Seals, Gems, and Coins required changes depending on which difficulty level you choose.

The higher the difficulty of the fight, the higher the drop chances for each item. I recommend sticking to Easy and Medium if you’re not confident in your build, as Kokushibo is much easier to defeat at these levels. However, if your character is strong enough, the Hard and Extreme difficulties are the way to go.

Easy

  • 1x Upper Seal
  • 700x Gems
  • 700K Coins

Medium

  • 2x Upper Seals
  • 900x Gems
  • 900K Coins

Hard

  • 3x Upper Seals
  • 1,150 Gems
  • 1,150,000 Coins

Extreme

  • 4x Upper Seals
  • 1,750 Gems
  • 1,750,000 Coins
