During the Aniimo Mysterious Presence quest, you’ll be exploring Astra in search of Voxel Cubes. To get these cubes in Aniimo, you need to complete various tasks and puzzles. As well as side quests, there are also Hidden Scenes, one of which I’ve covered in my Aniimo Secret of the Golden Helmet walkthrough.

Aniimo Mysterious Presence

The Mysterious Presence quest takes you across Astra to find Voxel Cubes. There are 9 Voxel Cubes to collect in total, all of which spawn after you complete specific tasks.

Voxel Cube Locations

It doesn’t matter which tasks you do first as the Voxel Cubes can be collected in any order.

Starwish Gacha

Near the Starwish Gacha, there’s a display that is glitching, which you need to fix. It’s a simple tile-sliding puzzle where you have to assemble the tiles to match the image shown. Once you complete the puzzle, an Emberpup spawns and you acquire a Voxel Cube.

Super Claw

1

By Super Claw, you can see a swing, which you can sit on with your Aniimo. A gauge appears at the top of your screen which says ‘Circle Around’, which you can fill by building up power whilst swinging. The goal is to swing all the way around, which sends your Aniimo flying. A Helmut then spawns, and you can collect the next Voxel Cube.

2

There’s a holo projector on the roof which needs investigating. After completing the task, Nimbi spawns with a Voxel Cube.

Horizon Square

1

Look for multi-coloured numbers and circles on the floor and step on each one in order; there are 8 tiles in total. After completing it, a Budclaw spawns, then a Voxel Cube.

2

To the north of Horizon Square, you’ll find Judy’s Street Band. You need to tune Chirpi to say ‘Hey’, Cornet to say ‘Hey, hey, hey, hey’, and Tromber to say ‘Hey, hey’. You don’t need to tune Tubster, as this Aniimo is already set. Upon completion, a Chirpi appears, as well as a Voxel Cube.

Chill Beanz

1

Find the rainbow numbers and circles on the floor and step on them in the correct order to spawn a Voxel Aniimo and a Voxel Cube.

2

There’s a glitched display close to Chill Beanz, which is a puzzle that can be solved by sliding the tiles to form the correct picture, advertising an iced drink. A Celestis then spawns, and so does the next Voxel Cube.

Mementos

At the Mementos store, there’s a glitched display that needs fixing. This is another of the tile-sliding puzzles, featuring an image of an apartment building. When you complete the image, a Susata spawns, and a Voxel Cube.

Coilstrike Strength Tester

Similar to the swing by Super Claw, there’s a seesaw that you can sit on with your Aniimo. Instead of a ‘Circle Around’ gauge, this time, it’s a ‘Faster’ gauge. Fill the gauge to complete this task, and once the Hummin spawns, so does a Voxel Cube.

Rewards

For each Voxel Cube you find, you earn 8 to 12 Voxel Coins, a currency used to purchase items from in-game shops and to play Super Lucky Star. By completing the entire ‘Mysterious Presence’ quest, you’re rewarded with 1K Safaris, 50 Glimmer, 60K Credits, and 200 Voxel Coins.
