The Hunt via Roblox has dabbled in time travel but somehow forgot to include the user manual for claiming UGCs in The Hunt 2026. Fortunately, as a bit of a Roblox veteran, I’ve figured out how to claim each limited-edition accessory and how to get back to the hub.
So, if you’re a little bit confused and simply want to get back to playing your way through time, stick around and learn everything you need to know about hub travelling and claiming UGCs.
How To Claim UGCs in The Hunt 2026

After you complete the mission for each annually featured game, an achievement pop-up will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen, prompting you to return to the hub and claim your prize.
When at the hub, find the UGC pedestal near the lobby NPC, walk over to it, and interact to claim your prize. You’ll know the pedestal is active if it shows the UGC reward rotating above it. You’ll also enter a short cutscene when claiming. After this, the UGC will appear in your inventory.
Returning To The Hub

Before claiming your UGCs, you need to return to the hub. To do this, press ESC to pull up the player menu tab. In the top left of this, you’ll see a button reading “Return to The Hunt: Roblox 2026“. Press this, and it will teleport you back to the lobby you initially entered from (2006 lobby, 2007 lobby, etc.).
Note: Typing the command /hub in chat will not work. I saw other players do this and tried to imitate it before I figured out how to return to the lobby.
The Next Lobby
After completing the game challenge and returning to the lobby to claim your UGC prize, press the Roblox icon cube near the lobby Quest NPC to teleport to the next year.
If you press the cube and teleport forward before completing the challenge, you won’t be able to return to the previous year until visiting each year ahead. This year, The Hunt 2026 via Roblox takes a more linear approach, so you can travel from 2006 to 2007, but not 2007 back to 2006.
Why Was This Confusing Players?
This year, The Hunt consists of 20 unique hubs, one per annual game featured to celebrate 20 years of Roblox. In the past, completing a quest in a game would let you claim the UGC whilst still in that game. This time, you need to return to the lobby corresponding to the year you’re currently playing, and then find the correct pedestal to interact with to claim your reward.
Two Pedestals
You may also notice that in each year’s lobby, there are two pedestals. One near a quest NPC, and one hidden somewhere on the map. As of writing (September 18th, 2026), the only one that gives UGCs is the one closest to the quest NPC at the lobby spawn, and it only rewards players who complete the corresponding game’s challenge.
The quest NPC, who usually has simpler challenges (such as finding 10 badges in the 2006 lobby, or pressing 5 buttons in the 2007 lobby), doesn’t seem to activate the other pedestal UGC just yet.
Should You Complete the Lobby NPCs’ Quests?
Yes. Even though a reward isn’t given yet, there’s a chance these NPCs will be important in the future, so it’s worth completing their quests as you travel to each lobby. Potentially in the future, completing their quests will give you the second UGC on the second, hidden pedestal.
The Hunt 2026
Hopefully I’ve cleared up how to claim your UGCs via The Hunt 2026 and how to return to the lobby. With this in mind, start playing The Hunt 2026 via Roblox.
