The new Valentine Update has brought with it three new badges, with one seemingly more difficult to unlock than the rest. In this how-to unlock the secret badge in Dress To Impress guide, I tell you how to do just that in simple steps, alongside what it unlocks!

How To Unlock The Secret Badge In Dress To Impress

To begin unlocking the Forbidden Truth badge, start Chapter 1 of the Valentine Event by entering a swan boat to play single-player. Next, enter the event map by interacting with the gate, skipping the cutscenes if necessary. Once loaded into the event, head to the Potion room located down the main hallway and in the final door on the left. Next, turn on all the lanterns inside the Potion room. The lanterns line the outer edges of the room, with one hiding behind a pillar as well.

After this, leave the Potion room and enter the smaller potion room on the right with bookshelves surrounding the walls and a miniature cauldron. This next part is key so be sure to make note of the order! You’ll want to drop ingredients into the Cauldron in a specific order and mix them up before the timer elapses.

First, drop in the Moonlight Potion, next the Enchanted Water, Vampire Blood, Ashes, Phantom Essence, and finally, Unicorn Hair. Once all of this is done, mix the cauldron pot to finalise your brewery. If you follow the steps, you’ll gain the Forbidden Truth achievement badge.

The Hidden Door

After obtaining the badge, head back to the lobby and enter Chapter 2. Instead of boarding a swan boat, jump into the water and head down the tunnel. On the left is a secret door boarded up with wooden planks which you can knock on. Doing so triggers a secret cut scene, but I won’t spoil it here!
