Dig It Exotic Rarity Guide

Other games on Roblox recently added Exotics to their roster of collectables, and Dig It soon followed suit, introducing two Exotics for their debut. Exotics aren’t quite as hard to obtain as Secrets, falling one rarity bracket before them. However, they’re not forgiving either… To find and dig them up, you’ll need a new and overpowered Shovel!

The Megalodon Shovel, introduced alongside the Exotics, is the perfect tool to use when hunting. It requires level 100+ and 900,000 D$ to obtain. Plus, it can only be bought during a Rainstorm Event in the waters beside the Finn NPC. The main reason this tool is great for Exotic hunting is because of its excellent 80% Precision, Control, Stability and 80k Max Weight. Without this, you might struggle. Additionally, the Megalodon Shovel has a higher percentage chance of digging up fish during a Rainstorm Event whereas every other Shovel has more of a 50/50 chance. If you don’t have the Megalodon Shovel, the other late-game Solar Shovel makes do as an alternative.

Exotic Items

More on the Rainstorm Event, this event is the only time players have the chance to dig up either of the first Exotics in the game. And, if you hadn’t guessed already, one of the Exotics is named after the Shovel! The Megalodon and the Kraken are the first two Exotics in Dig It. Similarly to the Colossal Worm event, only one player may capture it per server when the event takes place.

If you haven’t experienced a Rainstorm for yourself, the Gandolf NPC on Nookville will conjure one in exchange for 99 Robux. During a Rainstorm, a new collection is available where players will find a bestiary of fish whilst digging anywhere on any island.
