The latest update of Dig It introduced a new Volkayno update, but there are some items that have a bigger use than simply adding to your collection, with the Dig It Molten Key being one of them.

Dig It Molten Key Guide
The Molten Key is an important item if you want to unlock another area inside of the Volkayno Island. However, it’s one of the rarest items to dig due to its rarity.
How To Obtain
The only way to get the Molten Key is by digging on the new Volkayno Island. This is located near Nookville, and you need to purchase a boat to sail the seas to get there. If you’re struggling to find it, you can follow the red marker on your screen that says ‘Volkayno’ that will lead you to it.
Once you arrive, all you can do is start digging and hope you are lucky enough to obtain the Molten Key. This is of exotic rarity, which is the rarest of them all. You need to be very lucky to get one!
Of course, the shovel you are using makes all the difference, so make sure you use one that has high stats in luck to increase your chances. The Megalodon Shovel is a great option, as it has 50% Loot Luck. You can get this shovel during a Rainstorm Event for 900,000D$ once you are at level Level 100+.
Molten Key Uses
After you get your hands on the Molten Key, you can use it to enter the Devil’s Pit area. To get here, walk to the elevator located in the Volkayno and interact with the machine. This area has another collection for you to complete, with a bunch more items to dig.
