How To Get Gold In Rune Slayer

Gold, unlike other ores, doesn’t have a physical spawn. Instead, it hinges on the backs of other ore deposits found in the wild and drops alongside those with a slim chance. For example, when mining for Platinum and Mythril Ore, players have a slim chance to obtain Gold Ore.

Mythril spawns in the depths of hell, literally. Deep in the Balgarom Chasm, pockets of Mythril occasionally appear. This rare spawn has a weak chance to drop Gold Ore. So, farm Platinum instead! This material is easier to source, being Uncommon in rarity and spawning in Bahlgar within the Knights Templar.

To increase your chances of sourcing Gold Ore, craft and equip a Lucky Ring using x2 Gold Bars and x4 Platinum Bars to gain a +1 Luck stat. Or, adopt and take a Golden Fairy on your adventure, this creature applies the Fairy Buff which gives 3 additional rolls on drops.

How To Use Gold

Gold, much like other materials, aids in crafting new and better equipment from rings, to weapons, and armour. However, Gold sits lonesome as the only Legendary Ore in-game currently, making it highly valuable, sought-after, and strong! Naturally, this means most things crafted with Gold are indirect upgrades of what the player previously wore.

When you have Gold Ore, visit the Blacksmith NPC to smelt it into a Gold Ingot, ready to fuse into crafting!
