The Dead Rails New Classes are out! Each time a new one comes to the game, I plan to add it to this guide so you can easily find out about the latest content straight away.

Do any of the classes take your fancy? Try them out in Dead Rails! We have a Dead Rails Best Class guide to help you decide which to save your Bonds for.

Dead Rails New Classes

This guide is updated regularly when new classes are added to Dead Rails, which usually happens every so often. Whether it’s 1 new class or a bunch of them, you can find all the latest additions right here!

Musician

Weirdly enough, the Musician class is a healer! By playing their banjo they can replenish the HP of nearby teammates. However, this does not affect your own HP, so you still have to rely on bandages and snake oil.

  • Costs: 15 Bonds
  • Starter Items:
    • A singular banjo

Necromancer

As a Necromancer you have a 25% chance of reincarnating enemies when you defeat them with a melee weapon. But, reincarnation depletes your HP by 10.

  • Costs: 35 Bonds
  • Starter Items:

Packmaster

You spawn into a round with 3 wolves that are already tamed, hence the name of this class. Due to you already having a team of wolves by your side, any wolf that attacks you is instantly tamed, making you the true leader of the pack.

  • Costs: 35 Bonds
  • Starter Items:
    • 1 Shovel
    • 3 Tamed Wolves

Werewolf

As a werewolf, some of your stats increase, but it all depends on what time of day it is. Your HP, DMG, and Speed get a 2x buff when it’s nighttime. During the daytime, your HP, DMG, and Speed are boosted by 0.9x.

  • Costs: 50 Bonds
  • Starter Items:

Survivalist

If your HP is on the lower side, you deal more DMG in combat no matter the weapon of choice. It requires taking plenty of DMG to make this class worth it!

  • Costs: 75 Bonds
  • Starter Items:
    • 1 Tomahawk
    • 1 Shovel
