How do you get Grow a Garden Golden Fruit? It’s easy! But it does heavily rely on RNG.

Keep collecting your Grow a Garden crops and hope a Golden one spawns! Once you collect enough Golden fruit, you can unlock the Grow a Garden Easter Shop – take a look at our guide to find out what you can buy during the event.

Grow a Garden Golden Fruit

While Golden fruit is a permanent fixture in Grow a Garden, you need to collect them for the Easter event ,which is currently ongoing!

How to Get Golden Fruit

To get golden fruit in Grow a Garden, you either need to get lucky with your crops or have Golden plants. The latter requires you to get even luckier with seeds when planting them in your garden. There is a small chance that each seed you plant could turn into a Golden plant, which is increased when using Super Seeds.

If you don’t know how to get Super Seeds, you can either get them from the daily login via the in-game shop or obtain Seed Packs by completing all three of your daily quests.

Don’t worry too much about purchasing in-game gear when it comes to Golden plants, though the Master Sprinkler, Godly Sprinkler, and Advanced Sprinkler all increase your chances of growing crops with Mutations. Though this does not guarantee the Golden one!

Why Do You Need Golden Fruit?

As the Easter event is currently active, the need for Golden fruit is much higher! This is because, to unlock the Easter Shop, you must collect 30kg of Golden fruit in general. You can speed this up by collecting larger fruit, which weighs more, but there’s no guarantee they’ll spawn with each crop. You don’t need to give the Easter Shop NPC all of this at once, so feel free to head back and forth as you go along.

Outside of the Easter event, obtaining Golden crops is a way to earn more money when selling. A crop with any Mutation, whether it be Rainbow, Cursed, Electric, or Wet, sells for more than a standard crop.
