Verse Piece Frieren Spell Scrolls
The Frieren spec works slightly differently compared to other specs. Normally, when you have a spec, you can use it straight away. However, with Frieren, even if you have her, you can’t use her moves in battle until you have obtained the Spell Scrolls.

What Are Spell Scrolls?
Despite having the Frieren spec, if you want to use the moves that come with her, you need to obtain all of the Spell Scrolls. Each scroll correlates to a move. As I said, you will not be able to use that move until you have the matching scroll.
How To Get Spell Scrolls
The only way to get Spell Scrolls is by defeating the Frieren Boss. She spawns every 10 minutes on either Snow Island, Desert Island, or Shells Town. The location is random, but can be any of the three. Luckily, you’ll get a server-wide notification telling you she has appeared.
There are four Spell Scrolls you need to obtain. As they aren’t guaranteed drops, you’ll most likely have to defeat her a few times before you get them all.
These are all of the scrolls you need:
- Spell Scroll: Black Flame
- Spell Scroll: Black Hole
- Spell Scroll: Lightning
- Spell Scroll: Lighting Storm
