Infinity Nikki Patterns

As well as dyeing clothing pieces, you can also add patterns to them now, unlocking a whole new level of customisation for your outfits.

How to Unlock Patterns

To get patterns in Infinity Nikki, you need to complete various tasks such as style challenges and quests. Unlike the dye system, you cannot use patterns until you have unlocked them separately.

Once you obtain a new pattern, you can then use it in the dye menu via the wardrobe. But first, you must purchase it! You can do this with Glimmer Threads, which is a new type of currency. It works similarly to the Radiant and Luminous Prisms that you use to buy new dye colours.

Glimmer Threads are specifically used for 3-star and 4-star patterns. This hints that 5-star clothing pieces cannot be customised with a pattern – at least you can dye them! You can obtain this currency by completing quests and other tasks throughout the game. Make sure to pick up the new side quests as you go along.

Unlocking the Pattern Feature

I recommend heading to Auntie Generous, who is a Piecey. The closest waypoint is the Soakville Entrance! Look for her coral pink hair and monocle. After completing her style challenge, you unlock a new pattern, which then grants you access to the pattern system.

Auntie Generous offers up 4 challenges in total, but only Challenge 1 and Challenge 3 reward you with new patterns when getting an Average score. The first 2 patterns you unlock are Blazing Resolve and Treasure Chest. Before doing this, the pattern tab does not show in the dye menu, so don’t worry if you can’t see it just yet!
