Okay, this isn’t exactly like the other Soul Gems, but it still counts! This item, once obtained, allows you to recharge your enchanted weapons. But you need to fill the Azura’s Star with souls for it to work. You can sell it for 2.5K gold.

How to Get Azura’s Star

To obtain Azura’s Star, you need to complete the Azura Daedric quest. Collect a Glow Dust and visit the Azura Shrine (this is also where you pick up the quest) between the hours of 5 am and 7 am or 5 pm to 7 pm.

You then need to defeat 5 enemies, which is the next part of the quest. You then obtain the Azura Star upon completion!

How to Use Soul Gems

Trapping a soul inside a Soul Gem is easy, as long as you have a Soul Trap spell or your weapon has the Soul Trap enchantment. There are 4 variations:

    • Duration: 20 seconds
  • Greater Soul Trap
    • Journeyman rank
    • Duration: 30 seconds
  • Superior Soul Trap
    • Expert rank
    • Duration: 40 seconds
    • Range: 10 feet

    • Master rank
    • Duration: 60 seconds
    • Range: 20 feet
