The new Grow a Garden Lunar update introduced night-themed pets, with the Night Owl being one of the rarest. But you may be wondering, what does the Night Owl do in Grow a Garden? We’re here to help!

Aside from the Night Owl, there are also plenty of other pets you can find inside the Grow a Garden Night Egg. But, which Grow a Garden Night Egg pet is the best?.

What Does The Night Owl Do in Grow a Garden?

While the Night Owl is roaming around, it will give a buff to the other pets you have in your garden. At the moment, you can have a total of 3 pets active at once. This buff means that your pets will get XP faster, making them age quicker, too. This buff stacks if you have multiple Night Owls!

The age of your pet is important because it takes less time for them to activate their ability. If you need cash, older pets tend to sell for more Sheckles.

How To Get The Night Owl

You have a 4% chance to hatch the Night Owl from the Night Egg, making it hard to get! Night Eggs were introduced in the Lunar Glow Update, and you can get these by reaching certain milestones when obtaining Lunar Points.

Lunar Points

You get these points when handing over crops with the Moonlit mutation to the Wise Old Owl. Luckily, this quest is repeatable, giving you more chances to get Night Eggs and therefore, a better chance at hatching the Night Owl. There are also other Grow a Garden Lunar Glow Rewards available, so make sure to check them out.

The Milestones to get Night Eggs are as follows:

  • 70 Points – x2 Night Eggs
  • 210 Points – x1 Night Egg
  • 240 Points – x2 Night Eggs
  • 290 Points – x2 Night Eggs
  • 320 Points – x3 Night Eggs
  • 430 Points – x3 Night Eggs
