How to Get the Normal Ending in Dead Planets
After reaching the final area, you face a podium of sorts that has three slots for the emblems you have collected. Place these emblems in the correct slots to continue onwards. After placing these three emblems, a menacing laugh will sound.
You can then head over to the ‘Call for Evacuation‘ structure, which is on the other side – interact with it to send the signal. The screen then goes dark, and a cutscene begins to play, with a spaceship approaching your location, and a voice line that gets cut off halfway through. Suddenly, a code red alarm starts blaring, and the spaceship explodes. Well, there goes your escape.
Who’s responsible for this? General Zorg, no less. It’s time for a boss fight!
How to Beat the General Zorg Boss
Make sure your weapons are fully reloaded and start blasting! Any weapon is useful in this fight, but the Pulse 9 and K7 Slugger are my top recommendations. Grenades are a good option too, but are much less important when it comes to this particular battle.
Don’t get too close to General Zorg when he slams the ground with his fists. A red AoE marker appears on the floor to tell you where to avoid! He also shoots out orbs of energy that you need to evade by keeping an eye on the AoE markers across the boss arena.
This showdown is all about avoiding the red AoEs on the ground and using your weapons to deplete General Zorg’s HP! Upon his defeat, you get 50 coins as a reward.
