If you want Zombified crops in Grow a Garden due to their high selling value multiplier, you need to place the Chicken Zombie pet in your garden. If you do not have the Mythical rarity Chicken Zombie pet, you must rely on other players to trade Zombified crops with you instead, as long as they have the Chicken Zombie themselves.

Even with the Chicken Zombie pet in your garden, there is only a 20% chance of a crop gaining the Zombified mutation. This 20% chance occurs every 30 minutes, so there is no guarantee that you will get this mutation within each hour.

How to Get the Chicken Zombie Pet

The Chicken Zombie pet was only available during a short period of time before the Blood Moon Event update. If you logged in at the right time, before the event became available, you would have been gifted the Chicken Zombie pet.

This does mean that all players who did not log in during this time can no longer obtain the Chicken Zombie. If this is the case for you, then you can try to find players who are willing to trade their Zombified crops with you. You can do this by asking directly in the game or by finding a trade offer in the game’s official Discord server.
