The bees have been busy in the new Grow a Garden event! However, a crucial part of this event is obtaining the Pollinated Mutation. We’ll explain how to get the Grow a Garden Pollinated Mutation and why you need them in the Grow a Garden Bizzy Bees Event.
How To Get The Grow a Garden Pollinated Mutation
There are two ways you can get the Pollinated Mutation. Let’s take a look!
Bee Swarm
This event happens every 60 minutes, and bees will fly around and have the chance to pollinate your crops. You will get a notification if one of your fruits obtains the mutation.
Bee Pets
The different Bee pets will also give your crops this mutation.
- Bee
- The Bee will fly to a crop every 24:45 minutes and give it the Pollinated Mutation.
- Obtainment: 65% hatch chance from a Bee Egg
- Honey Bee
- The Honey Bee will mutate a crop with the Pollinated Mutation every 20 minutes.
- Obtainment: 25% hatch chance from a Bee Egg
- Petal Bee
- This pet will mutate a fruit with the Pollinated Mutation every 24:46 minutes. There is also a 1.17% chance the flower-type fruit stays after being harvested.
- Obtainment: 4% hatch chance from a Bee Egg
- Queen Bee
- Every 25 minutes, the Queen Bee will give a random crop the Pollinated Mutation. Also, every 30 minutes, a random pet will refresh its cooldown.
- Obtainment: 1% hatch chance from a Bee Egg
Pollinated Mutation
If your crops have the Pollinated Mutation, they will turn into a bright and shiny yellow colour with particles coming off them. However, anything with this mutation will also have the value increase by x3. Although that isn’t the best mutation available, a x3 value increase is still high.
Why Do You Need The Pollinated Mutation?
You need crops with the Pollinated Mutation to get Honey. Once you have Honey, you can then use it to purchase limited-time rewards from the Honey Shop. You must hand over a minimum of 10kg worth of Pollinated Crops to get Honey, which you can do by handing them to the Honey Combpressor.
