Time to solve the mystery of the Grow a Garden Raccoon Method! Lots of players are discussing it in the Grow a Garden Discord server and asking if anyone is willing to help them with it. So, what’s it all about?

There’s also the Cat Method, which works similarly but has a completely different effect, though it also boosts your profits!

Grow a Garden Raccoon Method

Why is everyone talking about the Raccoon Method, and is it any good?

What is the Raccoon Method?

The Raccoon Method is a process that aims to boost your profits exponentially via the use of the Raccoon pet. Now, this is not limited to a singular Raccoon. You can place as many as you want, as long as you have additional pet slots unlocked. Without these extra slots, you can place a maximum of 3 Raccoons in your garden.

Because of the Raccoon’s passive ability, it makes it one of the most useful pets in the game when trying to earn more money with rarer plants.

Unfortunately, the main downside is that the Raccoon picks a random crop from another player’s garden. This does not guarantee a duplicate of a rare or limited-time event plant. There’s a chance it could duplicate the humble strawberry.

But, with multiple Raccoons in one garden, the chance of at least one of them copying a rare crop is much higher. The duplication occurs every 15 minutes per Raccoon.

Obtaining the Raccoon Pet

The thing is, the Raccoon pet is one of the rarest to obtain in Grow a Garden and is part of the Divine rarity. Plus, it was only available during the Night event via the Night Egg, meaning it’s no longer obtainable.

There’s still a chance to get one, though, as pet trading exists! You just need to find another player willing to give you a spare Raccoon or trade for another valuable pet or crop type.
