Are Admin Seeds real? The short answer is no. Whilst players and YouTubers have discussed the phenomenon, they do not exist. Admin Seeds are supposedly seeds that only admins can give you.

Whether or not these seeds are for crops we’ve never seen before or the early release of upcoming crops is still unknown. If I was to theorise, I assume that Admin Seeds would be those that you cannot get from the Seed Shop and that are only obtainable for admins and anyone they give them to.

There are no actual Admin Seeds, but that isn’t to say admins cannot give you seeds themselves. However, admins mainly only do this if you are a content creator, so that you can use the footage in a video.

How to Trade Seeds

If an admin gives out seeds, it isn’t by the usual way of ‘gifting’. This is because you cannot gift seeds, but you can gift pets and crops. So, how do they give away seeds? They use admin commands! Regular players do not have these commands. Only admins can utilise commands to do almost anything in the game. It’s the same way to activate the rare Admin Events!

Will Admin Seeds Be Added to Grow a Garden?

While there are no specific Admin Seeds, there’s still a chance they’ll become a thing in the future.

With specific events only accessible if an admin decides to activate them with commands, it’s possible that the developers could release seeds that players can only get from admins. Still, you’d have to be lucky enough to be on the same server as an admin.
