The Grow a Garden Mega Harvest update introduced the different Grow a Garden Merchants. When they come and visit your garden, you can visit them and purchase exclusive goods and items to help you, such as gear you may not be able to obtain anymore. However, as they are a shop, the stock will continue to change.

Grow a Garden Merchants

There are currently two merchants available, the Sky Merchant and the Gnome Merchant. They will appear every 4 hours (real-life time) on the map. Once they arrive, they will stay for 30 minutes, and each offers a variety of goods, such as different pieces of gear or cosmetic items.

Merchant stock is similar to how to seed or gear shop works. What’s available will change, and common items will be more likely to appear compared to rare items.

Sky Merchant

This Merchant sadly doesn’t appear in the sky, but you can find them beside the Seed Shop. Let’s see what they have in stock, how much it costs, and its rarity.

  • Night Staff
    • Increases the chance for crops to turn Moonlit or Bloodlit
    • Cost: 12,000,000 Sheckles
    • Legendary rarity
  • Star Caller
    • Attracts shooting stars during a Meteor Shower
    • Cost: 12,000,000 Sheckles
    • Legendary rarity
  • Nectar Staff
    • This attracts more bees to your crops to pollinate them
    • Cost: 12,000,000 Sheckles
    • Mythical rarity

Gnome Merchant

As the name implies, the Gnome Merchant is a Gnome NPC who sells a variety of gnome crates. Inside these crates will be a random cosmetic item, which of course, will resemble a Gnome. You can place these in your garden to decorate it and make it more aesthetically pleasing… I just hope you like Gnomes.
