Dig Horns Guide – What Do Horns Do?

Horns create server-wide changes and expire after one use, which seems similar to Totems, but don’t get them confused! Totems affect a small radius area from their placement, whereas Horns alter the entire map and often apply a situational change, such as weather, boss summon, or event. In comparison, Totems typically enhance stats and apply buffs within their area.

So, that’s what Horns do! They cast a server-wide change including summoning specific weathers, bosses, and events. They allow the player to bypass waiting times for the game to trigger these events naturally.

  • Horizon Horn
    • Cost: $9,000
    • Location: Fernhill Forest
    • Effect: Changes the day cycle to the beginning of the alternative.
    • Conditions: Available through O’Myers Secret Shop or dug up as bonus loot.
  • Tempest Horn
    • Cost: $9,000
    • Location:  Fernhill Forest
    • Effect: Summons Rain
    • Conditions: Available through O’Myers Secret Shop or dug up as bonus loot.
  • Stormcaller Horn
    • Cost: $15,000
    • Location: Fernhill Forest
    • Effect: Summons a Thunder Storm
    • Conditions: Available through O’Myers Secret Shop or dug up as bonus loot.
  • Seafarer’s Horn
    • Cost: $25,000
    • Location: Combat Guild
    • Effect: Summons the King Crab Boss
    • Conditions: The player can only purchase this item if they’ve defeated the King Crab before.
  • Toxic Horn
    • Cost: $25,000
    • Location: Combat Guild
    • Effect: Summons the Basilisk Boss
    • Conditions: The player can only purchase this item if they’ve defeated the Basilisk before.
  • Phantom Horn
    • Cost: $30,000
    • Location: Combat Guild
    • Effect: Summons the Candlelight Phantom Boss.
    • Conditions: The player can only purchase this item if they’ve defeated the Candlelight Phantom before.
  • Webs Horn
    • Cost: $50,000
    • Location: Combat Guild
    • Effect: Summons a Giant Spider Boss.
    • Conditions: The player can only purchase this item if they’ve defeated 5 bosses before.
  • Bluemoon Horn
    • Cost: $200,000
    • Location: Alona Jungle
    • Effect: Summons a Blue Moon Event.
    • Conditions: Has an alternate use if the player wants to summon the Molten Monstrosity boss.
  • Radiant Horn
    • Cost: $300,000
    • Location: Cinder Cavern
    • Effect: Summons a Meteor Shower
    • Conditions: None
