How to Get the Cloudtouched Mutation

There are only two ways of obtaining crops with the Cloudtouched mutation. The first is a specific Mutation Spray gear item and the second is a Mythical pet from the Oasis Egg.

Cloudtouched Mutation Spray

By obtaining and using the Legendary rarity Cloudtouched Mutation Spray, you can choose which crops gain the mutation! It costs a total of 50 million Sheckles from the Sky Merchant. This shop spawns every 4 hours and remains for 30 minutes.

Hyacinth Macaw Pet

The Hyacinth Macaw is the only pet that can apply the Cloudtouched mutation to your crops. Its passive ability grants a 15.63% chance of mutating a random crop with Cloudtouched every 8 minutes.

To get the Hyacinth Macaw pet, you need to obtain and hatch an Oasis Egg. You can get this egg type from the Summer Shop with 10 Summer Coins. The Hyacinth Macaw is a Mythical rarity pet with a 5% hatch chance!

Cloudtouched Multiplier

So, if your crop gets the Cloudtouched mutation, how much does its selling value increase by? With the Cloudtouched mutation only, the selling value increases by 5x. This, of course, rises even more if the crop has multiple mutations.

It’s certainly not the highest multiplier in Grow a Garden, but its scarcity is why players are discussing this mutation a lot at the moment. Still, a 5x multiplier combined with other mutations is useful! Plus, this is a limited-time mutation, with it being introduced in the Summer Harvest update.
