If you’re after specific items, it’s worth knowing how to trade in Dig and where to find players to exchange with. The only downside to trading in Dig is that there are certain requirements you need to meet. How To Trade in Dig
Once you know how to trade, you can exchange items with players. I’ll talk you through how to do it in simple step-by-step instructions below.
- Find a player to trade with! You can either ask on your server or check the official Discord server.
- Once you find someone, you need to walk up to them in the game. A button will appear giving you the option to trade. When this shows, press F.
- Your inventory will open on your screen, and you can choose the items you want to trade.
- After you have everything you want to trade, press the button on the right that says ‘Accept’
- Wait until the trade is confirmed.
- If it is accepted, your trade will be complete.
Trading Requirements
There are two main things you need to keep in mind when trading.
- You can only trade or accept trades if you are level 10 or higher. If you’re below, it won’t be possible, so work on leveling up.
- There is a limit to how many items you can trade at once, and that is 12. If you want to trade more than 12 items, you’ll need to open a new trade afterwards.
Is Trading Worth It?
If you’re struggling to find specific items, then yes. However, always be careful when you trade. Despite there being an official trading system, players may try to scam you. It’s worth asking others if they can vouch for the player you want to trade with first. Also, to keep things fair, make sure you exchange items worth equal value.
