How to Get Pet Mutations

To apply mutations to your pets, you need to visit the Egg Merchant’s stall to find the Mutation Machine to the left. The pet must be at least level 50 to obtain a mutation! It takes 60 minutes for the mutation to be applied and resets the pet’s level to 1.

What mutations can pets get when using the Mutation Machine?

Windy

Windy pets have a 20% to 30% chance of applying the Windstruck mutation to random fruit. The Windy mutation has a 0.65% chance of appearing.

Shocked

Shocked pets work during the Thunderstorm weather event, increasing the chance of attracting lightning by 25% to 30%. This helps to apply the Shocked mutation to crops! The Shocked mutation has a 3.22% chance of appearing.

Tiny

The opposite of the Mega mutation, Tiny pets are extremely small. Their Hunger stat depletes 20% slower and they earn 5 to 30 XP every second. Tiny pets have a 6.43% chance of appearing.

Shiny

The Shiny mutation boosts the amount of XP the pet earns by an extra 15% per second. There’s a 32.15% chance of it appearing, and the total boost is +30%

Ascended

Ascended pets have a 75% to 90% chance of applying the Dawnbound mutation to a random fruit in your garden. This pet mutation has a 0.32% chance of appearing, making it the rarest in Grow a Garden so far.

Golden

Golden pets boost the power of the pet’s passive ability by 10%. This mutation has a 6.43% chance of appearing.

Radiant

Radiant pets summon a beam of light to boost the growth speed of a random crop for a total of 24 hours. This mutation has a 3.22% chance of appearing.

Inverted

Inverted pets boost the amount of XP the pet earns by an extra 30% per second, totalling to a +50% increase, with a 16.08% chance of it appearing.

Mega

Mega pets are visually larger than normal pets and get Hungry 20% faster. However, they earn 10-40 XP every second. This mutation has a 6.43% chance of appearing.

Rainbow

Rainbow pets boost the passive ability of the pet by 20% and have a 3.22% chance of appearing.

Frozen

Frozen pets have a 20% to 30% chance of applying the Frozen mutation to random fruit. This mutation has a 9.65% chance of appearing.

Iron Skin

Iron Skin pets have a 35% to 45% chance of getting stolen crops back from another player and have a 3.22% chance of appearing.
