Which classes can you play as in Dead Planets?

Demolitionist

The Demolitionist relies on blowing things up and not much else, which is why they start with Pulse Grenades instead of literally anything else. Causing maximum destruction is their goal!

  • Passive:
    • You spawn into a match with 2 Pulse Grenades
  • Costs:

Medic

The Medic class focuses on keeping all team members alive and maintaining their HP with Medkits. With a Medic on the team, you already have 2 Medkits on board!

  • Passive:
    • You spawn into a match with 2 Medkits
  • Costs:

Scout

With a faster walking speed and the ability to highlight locations where activity has been detected, the Scout class is good at… well, scouting the area out.

  • Passive:
    • You can highlight the locations of events that occur nearby
    • Your walking speed is 50% faster
  • Costs:

Technician

The Technician class focuses on increasing the overall speed of the truck and not much else. They’re useful to have on a team when you want to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible.

  • Passive:
    • The speed of the truck is 20% faster

Helion

The Helion class much prefers the daytime rather than the nighttime. Because of this, they can get most of the stuff they need done by the time the sun sets!

  • Passive:
    • When it is daytime, the passive replenishment of HP is buffed for Helion players
  • Costs:

Sharpshooter

Great with a gun and attacking at long range.

  • Passive:
    • When using a Pulse 9, you deal double the amount of DMG
    • You spawn into a match with a Pulse 9 weapon
  • Costs:

Jetpacker

They can move around much faster with a jetpack, allowing them to traverse difficult terrains and evade enemies.

  • Passive:
    • You have a permanent jetpack
  • Costs:

Drone Operator

Instead of doing all the work themselves, they get their drone to do it for them.

  • Passive:
    • You have a permanent drone that you can use to shoot down targets
  • Costs:

Daredevil

This class relies on taking DMG to boost their own!

  • Passive:
    • The lower your HP, the more DMG you deal in combat
  • Costs:

Xera-Guardian

Thanks to the shield that is constantly active, Xera-Guardian players have the highest defence out of all classes.

  • Passive:
    • You have a permanent shield, but it disables when you take part in boss battles
  • Costs:

Best Classes in Dead Planets

What are the best classes to unlock?

  • Drone Operator
    • You can use a drone to help your team without having to get hurt yourself
  • Helion
    • Buffing the HP replenishment of all team members when the sun is up, meaning you don’t have to rely on Medkits as much
  • Sharpshooter
    • Spawning with a Pulse 9 gun, you deal more DMG with said weapon, making you lethal in combat

How to Unlock New Classes in Dead Planets

If you want to unlock a new class, you need to collect a sufficient amount of in-game coins beforehand. In the main lobby area, head to the left side of the ‘Play’ sign to find the ‘Classes’ spot. Jump down the hole to enter the class menu, where you can unlock different classes with the coins you’ve collected.
