With the latest event relying on public servers, can you solo the Grow a Garden Summer Harvest event? Find out what you can get from taking part in this Grow a Garden event with our Summer Harvest Rewards guide.
Can You Solo the Grow a Garden Summer Harvest Event?
While you can take part in the Summer Harvest event by yourself, is it efficient, and can you reach the top Harvest Point milestone? The whole point of the event is to hand in summer-type crops every hour when the Harvest Event is active. You have a total of 10 minutes to earn as many points as possible.
If you have a ton of tomatoes, cauliflower, strawberries, and blueberries in your garden, you can certainly get quite a few Harvest Points. All of these plants are multi-harvest, are cheap to purchase from the Seed Shop, and appear quite often.
Yes, you may only get 1 point each for your strawberries and 2 points each for your blueberries, but the bushes provide tons of them, so they quickly add up! Combine this with the points you get from multi-harvest tomatoes and cauliflower, and you’re set!
If you’re lucky enough to have any Divine rarity and Prismatic summer-type crops, then make sure to hand those over too. The best way to do this within 10 minutes is to harvest everything beforehand so that you can quickly put them in the wagon directly from your inventory as soon as the server event starts.
Harvest Points and Summer Crops
The only mutations that count when handing in summer crops are Rainbow and Golden. The bulk of the points depends on the rarity of the crops you are placing in the wagon. For instance:
- Common crops
- 1 point each
- Strawberries and carrots
- Uncommon crops
- 2 points each
- Wild carrots and blueberries
- Rare crops
- 3 crops each
- Cauliflowers, pears, and tomatoes
- Legendary crops
- 4 crops each
- Watermelons, bananas, green apples, cantaloupes, and avocados
- Mythical crops
- 5 crops each
- Prickly pears, pineapples, parasol flowers, kiwis, and bell peppers
- Divine crops
- 6 crops each
- Loquats, rosy delights, and feijoas
- Prismatic crops
- 7 crops each
- Elephant ears and sugar apples
Best Solo Method
The favoured method right now is to fill your garden with tomatoes. This is because they are cheap at 800 Sheckles per seed and are Rare, which means they provide 3 points each in the Summer Harvest event, and they appear in the Seed Shop pretty often.
There’s also the fact that the tomato plant is multi-harvest and they don’t take too long to grow!
Another option is stocking up on cauliflower seeds. They’re a little more expensive than tomatoes, costing 1.3K Sheckles each, but they also reward you with 3 Harvest Points due to being Rare and are multi-harvest.
