Dead Rails Bonds

Every player needs Bonds! Why, you ask? Well, if you want items to use at the start of a round, you’ll have to collect plenty of Bonds

How to Get Bonds

The best way to obtain Bonds is by looting the bank buildings that you come across when exploring towns. Whilst there is no guarantee for Bonds to appear in a bank, the chances are much higher than anywhere else.

This does require you to find the bank’s vault code, which we have a guide on – check out our Dead Rails Vault Code walkthrough for more information.

Like all things in Dead Rails, there’s a chance for Bonds to appear in random buildings too. But yes, you’re more likely to find them in banks. Look out for them wherever you go!

What are Bonds?

In Dead Rails, Bonds are a type of currency. Whilst you’re in the lobby area of the game, you can enter the buildings to find a variety of items for sale. To purchase these items, you need Bonds!

Once you start a round, whatever you’ve bought will be contained in wooden crates that you can open once you load in.
