Dead Rails Endings

Are there multiple endings in Dead Rails? At this moment in time, nope!

How to Reach the Ending in Dead Rails

You need to reach an 80,000m travelling distance on your train. As you reach the 80,000m mark, you come across the final fort, which houses a variety of enemies. Let’s just say they aren’t too happy about your arrival.

The Final Fort

At this point in the game, you more than likely have weapons and ammo in your inventory. You’re going to need all of it for the upcoming fight! If you’re playing with other people, this fort is much easier to defeat, but it may be a little more tricky if you’re soloing it.

Without having to go inside the fort, you can lure the enemies out by slowly approaching the entrance. If they peek their head, make sure to shoot.

These enemies are human, which makes them smarter in combat, though there are zombies within the fort itself. Remember to keep an eye on the top of the stone fort too, as your targets tend to wander across when trying to attack you from a distance.

Lowering the Bridge

Once you think you’ve cleared all of the enemies out, you can hop on your train and make your way into the fort town. Don’t be surprised if you find a bunch of zombies surrounding the carriages of your train, as well as a few extra human enemies. Once the sun sets, vampires can also drop down from the sky to attack.

Afterwards, when it’s daytime, walk through the town to the bridge on the opposite side and interact with the crank. This lowers the wooden bridge, which is then followed by more zombies appearing. Defeat them all to reach the end!
