Dig It Ancient Key Guide
The Ancient Key is an exotic rarity item that has an important use!
How To Get The Ancient Key
There is only one way to get your hands on the Ancient Key, and that is by digging in the Devil’s Pit area. To unlock this area, you need to obtain the Molten Key, which is an exotic item found in the Volkayno. Check out the guide linked above for more information!
However, there is more to getting to the Devil’s Pit area than simply using the Molten Key. There is a fire bridge you need to cross, and you need to get the Fire Resistance potion to help you cross it safely.
To get Fire Resistance, speak to the Brewton NPC found in the Devil’s Pit. You need to find the following items:
- x1 Lava Bucket
- x1 Lava Slime
- x1 Lava Flower
- x1 Crystal
- x1 Pepper
Once you hand them all, head back to Brewton, and he will make you the Fire Resistance. Upon use, you will get 30 minutes of Fire Resistance. Now, cross the bridge and start digging!
What Does The Ancient Key Do?
After you have found the Ancient Key, you can use it to unlock the Ancient Trials found in the Volkayno. There’s a lot more to this update than digging and completing collections, so make sure to give the trials a go!
