Dig It Space Update

Find out what you can do in the Space update!

Launch Site Island

The latest location to explore during the Space update is the Launch Site! As you can guess, this entire island is inspired by a launch pad, and even has its own rocket. There is plenty of space to dig on this island, despite it being so small.

Building the Rocket

So, that rocket I mentioned? Yep, you need to build it so it works! Speak to the Mingus Neil NPC, who is an alien pretending to be a human. A new window pops up which contains information regarding the required components (and how many you need) that you must collect to build the rocket.

Required Items

  • 100 Titanium Plating
  • 1 Astronaut Helmet
  • 7 Rocket Thrusters
  • 2 Rocket Wings
  • 1 Rocket Engine
  • 10 Rocket Fuel

After collecting all of these items, you can launch the rocket by clicking the big green ‘LAUNCH’ button! Make sure to keep track of your progress by speaking with Mingus Neil.

Launching the Rocket

Once you click the ‘LAUNCH’ button, you are then teleported inside the rocket and given the prompt to press the E key on your keyboard. A cutscene then plays which sees the rocket lifting off and up into space, sending you straight to the moon.

The Moon (New Location)

After launching the rocket, you unlock The Moon – a new dig site!

New Shovels

You can purchase these new space-themed shovels on the Moon.

  • Galaxy Shovel (level 125+)
    • Costs:
      • 1,100,000
      • 10 Goo
  • Black Hole Shovel (level 200+)
    • Costs:
      • 2,500,000
      • 90 Goo

How to Get Alien Goo

When exploring the Moon, you can see UFOs floating above. At times, these UFOs drop aliens. Approach these aliens and jump on top of them to squash them into the ground.

This then activates the digging minigame! Once you complete it, you get Alien Goo. The aliens can get themselves out of the ground after a while, so watch out.
