Do The First Two Minigames Affect Forging Quality in The Forge

In short, yes, the first two minigames contribute to the overall quality of your completed Forge.

This is important as your performance will determine how good your overall equipment turns out, including high DEF armour, high DMG weapons, and overall monetary value.

How To Play The First Two Minigames

The first minigame happens after you choose your Ores and press Forge. The game requires you to bring the Ores to their melting temperature by pumping the furnace to make the kiln hotter. Once the temperature reaches maximum, you move on to the next minigame.

The second minigame is a pouring game. You need to line up your white line with the moving yellow box to pour out your smelted Ores. This game completes when the bar at the bottom is full.

For both minigames, there are no timed tasks like the final minigame. It’s easy to think they’re less vital and just for show, as you can take as long as you want. However, in the next heading, I’ll prove why you don’t want to be tardy about your initial forging games.

Experimental Forging

I took it upon myself to give this a try before curating this article. To ensure fairness, I used x3 Cobalt per forge to ensure a 100% chance to obtain a Dagger. Since there are three Dagger variants, I sold and redid the experiment if I got a different version from my first Excellent/Perfect quality Cobalt Dagger.

image shows the experiment
  • When performing poorly in the first two minigames:
    • Craft Quality: Rough (21%)
    • DMG: 5.22
    • ATK Speed: 0.35s
    • Selling Price: $41.29
  • When performing excellently in the first two minigames:
    • Craft Quality: Excellent (92%)
    • DMG: 8.26
    • ATK Speed: 0.35s
    • Selling Price: $65.35

This proves that the first two minigames matter, as on the third and final one, I aimed to get Perfect on each strike. To fail the first two minigames, I would take too long, let the kiln cool down, and pour out slowly, ruining the flow of the craft.

I also noticed that the Attack Speed remains the same. Whether this is true for rarer weapon types or rarer Ores is uncertain. But, with the selling price and main function taking a hit, I wouldn’t risk finding out.

Forging Gamepass

If you struggle with the first two games or want to bypass them entirely, you can purchase the Fast Forge Gamepass for 299 Robux. This Gamepass skips the initial two games, moving onto the final one, where you hammer your equipment in time with the circle.

Or, you could just get good… (jk :P)

It seems you’ve stumbled upon my bio! I’m Sho, your local weeb. Off the clock I am typically watching anime, reading manga, or doing art. I think it’s safe to say that all my unpaid thoughts revolve around anime… That said, watch One Piece! (Or don’t, I’m just a biography.)
