There’s another Grow a Garden update coming, so let’s go through everything we know about the Grow a Garden Mega Harvest update. As the name implies, it’s going to be an extension of the current Summer Harvest Event.

Everything We Know About The Grow a Garden Mega Harvest Update

The Mega Harvest update will release on Saturday, the 28th of June, 2025. At the time of writing this, that’s tomorrow, so it’s all very exciting! If you’re like us and want to know what to expect already, keep reading.

Official Statement

On the Grow a Garden page on Roblox, the developers have given us a glimpse of what it’s about with the following description.

“The summer harvest isn’t over yet… Introducing the Mega Harvest, an upgraded summer harvest event that brings lots of epic surprises! Join forces with fellow gardeners to take part in this mega version of the summer harvest. Discover and unlock new seeds, pets, craftable items, weather, and so much more in this new Grow A Garden update!”

New Content

Based on the statement, we know for sure there will be new pets, items you can craft, and seeds. Most likely, these will be summer seeds, either available from the shop or from a new event.

Perhaps there will be different kinds of summer weather? Or a new event similar to the Summer Harvest. During updates, new weather tends to be added. New weather also means new mutations!

Speaking of seeds, an idea I personally love is having seasonal seeds. If you’re familiar with Stardew Valley, depending on the season will determine what crops you can plant and purchase. Maybe this will be the same in Grow a Garden, hence the new Summer Seeds available in the Seed Shop. Maybe when it becomes autumn, we’ll get new autumn seeds.
