To get the Kraken Rod, you need to complete the Kraken Pool puzzle. Follow the steps below!

How to Complete the Kraken Pool Puzzle

You cannot access the Kraken Pool without activating all 4 Mythological Clocks – don’t worry, you can find these during the trials. After you activate all 4 clocks, you can head back to the middle area of Atlantis.

Jump into the surrounding waters to swim down to the circle of multi-coloured lights. I recommend equipping Advanced Diving Gear, Tidebreaker, or Super Flippers to make this step easier.

This area then unlocks when you get down there, which allows you to swim further down to find yet another Mythological Clock. To solve this clock puzzle, you need to select the Red Spear icon, which is the solution to the ‘Ruler of the Underworld’ hint. After the next area opens, you can swim down until you see a small gap, which you can make your way through to enter the Kraken Pool.

Once you’re at the Kraken Pool, look to the sides of the location to spot the Kraken Rod resting against a wall. It costs a total of 1,333,333 Coins!

Passive Ability

The Kraken Rod’s passive ability increases your chances of catching 2x the fish by 10%. But that’s not all, as it also grants you a 5% increased chance of catching fish with the Tentacle Surge Mutation. This increases the selling value of the fish by 1.5x!

Once you catch 50 fish, you are guaranteed an Exotic, Legendary, or Mythical fish. If you’re fishing in an area that doesn’t have an Exotic rarity fish, then you have a chance to obtain a random Exotic fish from another island.
