End-Game S-Tier Rods.

  • Heaven’s Rod
    • Strong stats, including a high amount of luck. It comes with a passive that increases your chances of getting Heavenly fish, which sell for 5x more.
    • Unlock the ability to purchase by collecting 4 Energy Crystals
  • Rod of the Exalted One
    • Great stats and +2.5x higher chance to find Exalted Relics.
    • Obtained by handing 7 differently mutated Relics over within The Keeper’s Secret connected to Mushgrove.
  • Zeus Rod
    • Overpowered end-game stats, similar to the Heaven’s Rod.
    • Obtained from Zeus’ Trial for 1,700,000 C$

Mid-Late-Game S-Tier Rods

  • No Life Rod
    • Has some of the best stats across any rod in the game!
    • Reach player level 500.
  • No Life Rod

  • Kraken Rod
    • Low control, great stats otherwise.
    • 1,333,333 C$ from Krakens Pool (Atlantis)
  • Poseidon Rod
    • Similar to the Kraken rod stat-wise.
    • 1,555,555 C$ from Poseidons Trial (Atlantis)
  • Trident Rod
    • Has the chance to pierce and stun fish during capture
    • Requires 100% Bestiary completion and 150,000C$.
  • Destiny Rod
    • Applies a permanent and hefty luck boost to catches.
    • Obtained via Caleia for 190,000.
  • Kings Rod
    • All fish caught are 10% larger.
    • Obtained via Enchanted Alter for 120,000.
  • Sunken Rod
    • Every 10 catches, the player has a 25% chance to find a Treasure Map on their next catch.
    • Obtained from Treasure Chests
  • Rod of the Depths
    • Increases your luck by +130%, lure speed by 65%, resilience by 15, and control by 0.15.
    • Bought from the cave after the maze in The Depths for 750,000.
  • The Lost Rod
    • After 6 Perfect Catches in a row, your luck gets a 150% boost for the next 3 catches.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives
  • Arctic Rod
    • An extremely balanced rod with a reasonable price
    • Purchase at the spawn point on the Northern Expedition Island

A-Tier

Late-Game A-Tier Rods

  • Tempest Rod
    • More costly than the Zeus Rod and provides a similar service.
    • Costs 1,850,000 C$ from Atlantis.
  • Rod of the Forgotten Fang
    • You get to summon Megalodon, which gives you an extra fish that’s 15-20% larger.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Rod of the Eternal King
    • Unlocks the Royal Escort, which has a 10% chance every 30 seconds to buff your luck stat by 150% for a total of 10 seconds.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Abyssal Specter Rod
    • For its price, its stats aren’t exceptional. However, it has the highest natural Resilience of any rod capping at 60%!
    • 1,004,269 C$ from Atlantis.

Mid-Game A-Tier Rods

  • Firework Rod
    • Balanced stats, similar to the King’s Rod but with lower Luck and Resilience primarily. 15% for Firework Mutated fish.
    • Obtained as the third reward for Dr Glimmerfins Algae hunt
  • Reinforced Rod
    • The only rod capable of withstanding the Brine Pools
    • Costs 20,000C$ from the Desolate Deep
  • Nocturnal Rod
    • Catches diurnal and nocturnal fish at any time.
    • Bought at Vertigo for 11,000.
  • Steady Rod
    • Withstands oceanic pressure for deeper-found Fish.
    • Bought from Roslit for 7000.
  • Mythical Rod
    • +20% Chance for caught Fish to be Rainbow.
    • Obtained from the Travelling Merchant for 110,000.
  • Haunted Rod
    • Increases luck by 50%.
    • Obtained via the 2024 Halloween Event
  • Wisdom Rod
    • You get 70-100% more EXP every 5 catches.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Ice Warper’s Rod
    • Despite having no passive ability, the stats are good and more or less balanced!
    • Unlock the Overgrowth Cave altar by pulling levers
  • Avalanche Rod
    • Like the Ice Warper’s rod, this one has no passive ability, but the stats make up for it.
    • Purchase for 35K coins at the Northern Summit
  • Firework Rod
    • Overall decently balanced stats with a generous passive.
    • Obtained via limited Algae Quest

B-Tier

  • Champions Rod
    • B-Tier for an expensive rod may seem harsh but its stats are quite low when considering its price.
    • 1,000,000 C$ from Atlantis.
  • Depthseeker Rod
    • Has decently balanced stats, but is rather expensive and offers no passive ability.
    • 125,000 C$ from Atlantis
  • Rapid Rod
    • Quicker than the Fast Rod, catches Fish quickly.
    • Bought from Roslit for 14,000.
  • Phoenix Rod
    • Increases your chances of getting a Scorched fish.
    • Buy from the Ancient Isle Cave for 40,000.
  • Resourceful Rod
    • The usefulness of bait increases by 2x, though if it’s a negative effect, this makes things more difficult
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives
  • Riptide Rod
    • Unlocks the Tide Meter, which fills up when getting a Perfect Catch, boosting your chances of getting rare fish by 30% for the next 3 catches.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Seasons Rod
    • You can catch seasonal fish during the right season with a 20% boosted chance.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Celestial Rod
    • Boosts your lure speed by 30% and luck by 50% after catching 85 fish, lasting 5 minutes, and every fish you catch is Celestial.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Voyager Rod
    • All fish you catch have a 25% chance of being Fossilized.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • North-Star Rod
    • A good beginner rod with decent stats.
    • Obtain by opening the 2024 Advent Calendar on Day 9.
  • Crystallized Rod
    • Increases your chances of catching fish with the Crystallized mutation.
    • Obtain a Glass Diamond and stand on 2 plates with a fellow player
  • Fortune Rod
    • Stronger than the Lucky Rod and has a higher chance to catch rarer fish.
    • Obtained from Roslit for 12,750.
  • Antler Rod
    • You have a 25% of getting Jolly Fish, which sells for 200% more.
    • Obtainable in the 2024 Advent Calendar on Day 5.

C-Tier

  • Magnet Rod
    • Attracts Crates and drops.
    • Bought from Terrapin for 15,000.
  • Fungal Rod
    • 70% chance to spout spores that apply a Luck IV for 45 seconds.
    • Obtained by showing Agaric an Alligator within the Mushroom Swamp.
  • Long Rod
    • Not strong, but has the furthest reach in Fisch.
    • Obtained for 4.5k.
  • Fast Rod
    • Catches fish quicker.
    • Bought from Starter Island/Moosewood for 5,500.
  • Training Rod
    • Slightly more sturdy compared to the beginner’s rod.
    • Bought from Moosewood for 300.
  • Buddy Bond Rod
    • Increases your stats by 30% when playing with a friend,
    • Obtained by inviting a friend to your server and interacting with Bob at Moosewood.
  • Relic Rod
    • Weak stats, but expected to get a buff when the Ancient Isles releases
    • Obtained by completing the Fossil Bestiary for Dr. Finneus and visiting the Ancient Isles where it sells for 8,000 C$.
  • Relic Rod
    • For the effort it takes to get it, the stats are weak, and it has no passive ability.
    • Only obtainable during the Archaeologist event
  • Precision Rod
    • It’s fine but its only benefit is the high Resilience.
    • Craft in the Ancient Archives.
  • Summit Rod
    • Its stats are good, but when you look at the price, it’s not worth it
    • Purchase for 300K coins at the Cryogenic Canal
  • Scurvy Rod
    • Increases your luck by 50%, lure speed by 15%, and resilience by 15%
    • Bought from the cave on Forsaken Shores for 50,000.

D-Tier

  • Magma Rod
    • Capable of fishing in Lava.
    • Obtained by giving an Orc a Pufferfish.
  • Carbon Rod
    • Easy to hold but shorter range.
    • Bought from Starter Island/Moosewood for 2000.
  • Midas Rod
    • +60% chance all caught fish will be Golden.
    • Obtained via Travelling Merchant for 55,000.
  • Plastic Rod
    • Simple but gets the job done.
    • Bought from Moosewood for 900.
  • Stone Rod
    • Weak stats and a slow Lure Speed.
    • Purchase at Ancient Isle for 3,000.
  • Lucky Rod
    • Increased Rare Fish chance.
    • Bought from Moosewood for 5,250.
  • Flimsy Rod
    • The default with no buffs.
    • Obtained for free.
