How To Build a House in Grow a Garden

Let me preface by saying this house won’t be huge… Gardens have a placement limit of 60 items, and given that the shop refreshes every 4 hours, it’d take ages to accumulate all the necessary materials for something spacious. Plus, cosmetics aren’t cheap! But let’s get into it.

Material Requirements

  • Bookshelf – x1
    • Cost: TBA
    • Rarity: TBA
    • For shaping
  • Brown/Red Well – x1
    • Cost: 60 Million
    • Rarity: Legendary
    • Used for shaping
  • Small Wood Flooring– x4
    • Cost: 850k
    • Rarity: Uncommon
  • Large Wood Flooring – x3
    • Cost: 1 Million
    • Rarity: Uncommon

How to Build The House

Start by placing the Well where you want your roof to be, and equip the Small Wood Flooring. Lean and rotate the Small Wood Flooring against the roof of the well to create the triangular shape. The Well should hold x2 Small Wood Flooring per side (x4 total).

Next, remove the well, and you should have a floating triangular roof. Equip the Bookshelf next and place it inside the house perimeter by one stud. Equip the Large Wood Flooring and lean it against the Bookshelf, creating the walls. Leave the front of the house blank to enter and exit.

As you get used to building in Grow a Garden, you can easily expand your property and add more details, such as wind chimes and seating. You could also try using some of the stone pillar items as a faux chimney!

You’ll notice this tutorial has no flooring. I purposefully left that part blank to save you some sheckles and give you some freedom over flooring types if you wanted to experiment with aesthetics.

It seems you’ve stumbled upon my bio! I’m Sho, your local weeb. Off the clock I am typically watching anime, reading manga, or doing art. I think it’s safe to say that all my unpaid thoughts revolve around anime… That said, watch One Piece! (Or don’t I’m just a biography.)
