How To Complete the Fish It Elemental Rod Questline
First, head to the Undergound Cellar, where you’ll claim your Element Rod on quest completion. This area is located at Ancient Jungle, to the right of the temple across the river, and inside the door etched with runes. This door only opens at nighttime and leads to a small fishing spot and the Elemental Rod requirements.
Element Rod Quest
- Own a Ghostfin Rod
- First, collect the Ghostfin quest from the Sisyphus Statue at Lost Island (Requires Diving Gear). Then complete the following three quests:
- Catch 300 Rare or Epic Fish in the Treasure Room
- Catch 3 Mythic Fish at the Sisyphus Statue
- Catch 1 Secret Fish at the Sisyphus Statue
- Earn 1 Million Coins
- Catch x1 Secret Fish and Ancient Jungle
- Catch 1 Secret Fish at Sacred Temple
- Create x3 Transcended Stones
- Climb up the Temple and hold a Secret Fish. Then, speak with the Temple Guardian and select ‘Proceed’. Continue selecting this option until you’re given the choice to destroy the fish you’re holding. Destroy it, and you’ll gain x1 Transcended Stone.
Elemental Rod Stats
Once you’ve completed all quests, head back to the Underground Cellar and claim your Elemental Rod. As of its addition, this is the best rod in the game, hosting the most favourable stats, including:
- Luck: 1111%
- Reel Speed: 130%
- Maximum Weight: 900k KG
As for enchants, I recommend the Mutation Hunter II, which gives the rod a 30% increased chance for mutated fish encounters. Since this rod is so meta, with no real drawbacks, increasing the rate of mutations makes it effective and ideal for money farming. After all, you’ll have a lot of coins to earn back after obtaining the Ghostfin.
