Obtaining the Lineage Piece Solemn Lament weapon isn’t as straightforward as you might think. You need to collect a bunch of materials in Lineage Piece to craft rare items, as well as collect Gun Parts. Lineage Piece Solemn Lament

The Solemn Lament weapon is of the Mythical rarity, making it one of the more difficult to get in Lineage Piece. It’s based on the character Yi Sang from Limbus Company, a popular mobile gacha game.

How to Get the Solemn Lament Weapon

First, you need to visit the Solemn Lament NPC, ocated on Frostborn Island, which has enemies level 600 to 1,000. This NPC looks just like Yi Sang from Limbus Company, so if you play that game, you’ll recognise him immediately. He stands next to the Butterfly Shop NPC, who plays an important part in the weapon, too.

The Solemn Lament NPC requires the following items:

• 1x Grief for the Dead
  • Craft at the Butterfly Shop with:
    • White Gun Parts #1, #2, and #3
• 1x Lament for the Living
  • Craft at the Butterfly Shop with:
    • Black Gun Parts #1, #2, and #3
• 5x Fusion Cores
  • Craft at the Butterfly Shop with:
    • 20x Boss’s Souls
    • 100x Soulweaver’s Butterflies
• 100x Soulweaver’s Butterflies
  • Drops from:
    • Mobs with the Butterflyed Mutation
      • This mutation spawns randomly
    • Mobs in Dungeons
• 250x Boss’s Souls
  • Drops from:
    • Bosses at the Legend’s Arena
• 30 million coins
• 45K gems

How to Get Gun Parts

All of the Gun Parts are of the Mythical rarity, making them pretty rare drops.

Black Gun Parts

The Black Gun Parts #1, #2, and #3 all have a chance to drop upon defeating the Saber Alter Boss.

To battle against the Saber Alter Boss, you need to access the Ryuudo Cave, which requires the Ryuudo Key. Once you enter the Ryuudo Cave, you must defeat Medusa and survive against Corruption for 60 seconds before unlocking the Saber Alter fight.

White Gun Parts

The White Gun Parts #1, #2, and #3 all have a chance to drop upon defeating the Raiden Ei/Shogun Boss.

You can find the Raiden Shogun Boss at the Plane of Euthymia, which is opened with a Shrine Key. Shrine Keys have a chance to drop when defeating Snow Bandits.

Solemn Lament Mastery

To unlock Mastery for the Solemn Lament weapon, you need to visit the Solemn Lament Mastery NPC on Frostborn Island. There are 5 quests in total:

• Quest 1
  • Deal a total of 3.5 billion DMG with the Solemn Lament weapon
• Quest 2
  • Defeat 250 NPCs [can be any] with the Butterflyed Mutation
    • This mutation spawns randomly
• Quest 3
  • Defeat 25 bosses [can be any] with the Butterflyed Mutation
    • This mutation spawns randomly
• Quest 4
  • Defeat the Solemn Master User on Hard or Extreme difficulty a total of 15 times
• Quest 5
  • Craft a Large Coffin 
    • You can craft the Large Coffin by speaking with the Butterfly Shop NPC on Frostborn Island. The required items to craft are:
      • 6x Invert Tears
        • Chance to drop from the Solemn Lament Boss [Yi Sang]
      • 10x Monochrome Wood
        • Chance to drop from the Solemn Lament Boss [Yi Sang]
      • 500x Soulweaver Butterflies
        • Chance to drop from:
          • Mobs with the Butterflyed Mutation
            • This mutation spawns randomly
          • Mobs in Dungeons
