How to Get a Job in Gakuran

• Please note that jobs are unavailable in Gakuran right now due to a rework, but are coming back in an upcoming update. Once they are back in the game, I’ll update this guide with all the relevant and up-to-date information. There’s a new update coming on July 25th, adding the new town, which could include jobs

Open the in-game phone with the Left Alt key (if you’re playing on PC). Look for the app called Indeed, yep, just like the real job-searching website. However, with the job app being unavailable right now, there’s a chance the name will be different, perhaps for copyright reasons.

After selecting the Indeed app, you can browse through a variety of available jobs.

When you accept a job, you’ll have to wait for the noted time to start your shift. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get to your job location, though.

To clock in, you need to walk into the establishment’s locker room to change into your work clothes. If you don’t want to get fired and you want the money, don’t leave until your shift ends.

Available Jobs

• As of right now, you cannot get a job in Gakuran, but the update is coming soon. Because of this, nobody knows exactly which jobs are going to be added to the game, though there has been a sneak peek of what looks to be a restaurant

Before getting removed, you could get a job at a few locations, such as the in-game convenience store, also known as 7-Eleven. There were also jobs available at Club Akuma and the Coffee Shop.

There’s a chance these jobs will be added back to Gakuran in the upcoming update.

What’s the Point in Getting a Job in Gakuran?

If you have a job, you get paid Yen, which is an important currency in Gakuran. There’s also the roleplaying purpose of getting a job, adding to the core elements of a life simulation game.

How Do I Get More Yen?

Aside from jobs, there aren’t many ways of getting Yen as of right now. All players start with a random amount of Yen when they first make their character.

YenApp is an application on the in-game mobile phone that allows players to send money to each other. When you first open the app, you need to set up your account, which requires you to choose a Yen Tag. To send money to another player, you can select one of your contacts or type in the user’s Yen Tag.

This all depends on whether or not you meet players who are willing to part with some Yen.

Do I Need a Job in Gakuran?

It’s entirely optional, but I recommend getting a job for the Yen. The gameplay of doing chores and tasks can be quite satisfying; it’s why the life simulation genre does so well. With there only being one way to get Yen in Gakuran, getting a job will be a much more efficient way of saving up some in-game cash.

Will New Jobs Get Added?

While we don’t know which jobs will be added in the initial update, if they’re popular amongst players, there’s a chance that more job options will be released in future updates. Previous jobs included roles at Club Akuma, the Coffee Shop and the 7-Eleven convenience store.
