The Fisch Chocolate Fish is not an obtainable catch, but instead is a bait type that is only available during the 2025 Valentine’s event.
Have you caught a Lovestorm Eel in Fisch yet? If not, check out our Fisch Lovestorm Eel guide, which goes over its preferences and how to catch one.
Fisch Chocolate Fish
A limited-time bait type.
How to Get Chocolate Fish Bait
As far as we know, the only way to get Chocolate Fish bait is by completing the milestones during the Fisch Valentine’s 2025 event. Interact with the Valentine’s NPC on Moosewood Island (he’s by a statue of Cupid to the left of the docks) to find the Valentine’s Reward window.
- You need to catch 100 fish to get 10 lots of Chocolate Fish bait
- You need to catch 2K fish to get 15 lots of Chocolate Fish bait
With the above method, you get a total of 25 Chocolate Fish. This isn’t a lot, considering it significantly increases your chances of catching the Lovestorm Eel when fishing during one of the Lovestorm Events. These server events spawn every 3 hours and are limited to 1 Lovestorm Eel (or Lovestorm Eel Supercharged if it’s a Supercharged Lovestorm server event).
Unlike the usual bait types, it doesn’t look like you can get Chocolate Fish by opening Bait Crates or Quality Bait Crates.
What’s the Chocolate Fish Bait For?
The Chocolate Fish bait type is great for catching any type of fish, thanks to its 150% Universal Luck stat. However, its main use is its 200% Preferred Luck stat, which is solely reserved for the Lovestorm Eel and Lovestorm Eel Supercharged.
It also has a passive ability, which guarantees your catches have the Chocolate Mutation. This turns each fish or item you catch into chocolate and increases the selling value by 2.5x
