How to Get Flax in Rune Slayer

Flax is a Common rarity obtainable material that you can use in crafting.

Flax Location

The main area to find Flax is Pinewood Forest, around the Thickets. To get to this area, you must head South of Wayshire. When wandering around this location, you’re looking out for a plant with brow shoots that have green leaves, with the main part of the crop featuring a white petal-like shape.

To collect Flax, you need to use a Sickle. There are multiple Sickles available to wield, but as the Flax material is of the Common rarity, you do not need a super-strong Sickle to harvest it.

How to Get a Sickle

If you don’t already have a Sickle, here’s how to get one.

  • Copper Sickle (Common rarity)
    • How to Obtain:
      • You can purchase it from Winfrid at the Wayshire Blacksmithery with 50 Copper Coins
      • Alternatively, you can craft it yourself with 1 Oak Log and 2 Copper Bars
  • Iron Sickle (Common rarity)
    • How to Obtain:
      • You can craft this Sickle with 1 Pine Log and 2 Iron Bars

Both of these Sickles are strong enough to collect Flax! You do not need the higher-rarity Sickles to harvest this material.
