Whether you have Gear 4 and you’re wondering how to get Gear 5 in Haze Seas, or you’ve just gotten the regular Gum Fruit, I’ve covered the important stuff. From unlocking Gear 2 to Gear 4, and how to get the Haze Seas Gum Fruit in general, all of the steps are included in this guide.

How to Get Gear 5 in Haze Seas

Gear 5 is an upgraded version of the Gum Fruit, which explains why it’s of the Mythical rarity. There are a few steps to take to unlock Gear 5 in Haze Seas, so let’s get started.

Gear 5 Requirements

Step 1

The first step requires you to defeat 750 NPCs specifically on Dragon Island. Defeating NPCs on any other island does not count.

Step 2

Next, spawn the Dragon Boss at the top of Dragon Island. To spawn this boss, you need to defeat 750 NPCs on Dragon Island. Luckily, if you’re on step 2, you’ll have already battled against these NPCs, as mentioned in step 1.

Step 3

Obtain the Drums of Liberation by defeating the Dragon Boss. If you’re using the Gum Fruit, which you should be doing if you’re working towards Gear 5, the Drums of Liberation are guaranteed to drop. There’s also a 10% chance for the Dragon to drop the Horns Accessory and a 100% chance of getting 3.5K Bounty.

Step 4

Visit the Gear 5 Trainer NPC, Incurr, on Dragon Island. The first time you give him the Drums of Liberation, you’ll unlock the first Gear 5 skill. It also costs 500K coins, 100 Gems and requires level 3,000. You must have Gum 2 and Gum 4 before you can get any of the skills for Gear 5 – I’ll detail how to get Gear 2 and Gear 4 in the next section of this guide.

Step 5

Repeat each step until you have all the Gear 5 skills. Yes, this means you need more Drums of Liberation, as well as more Coins and Gems. There are 6 skills in total to unlock for Gear 5:

• Z: Kaminari Lightning
• X: God Clap
• C: Spiritual Dominance
• V: Gomu Giant
• B: Bajrang Gun
• E: Cloud Fly

How to Get Gear 2 and Gear 4

Before you can get Gear 5, you need to unlock Gear 2 and Gear 4.

Unlocking Gear 2

Visit the Gear 2 Trainer NPC, Yoka, on Bubble Island behind the secret wall. Once you have 100K Coins and you’ve reached 300 Gum Mastery with the regular Gum Fruit.

Unlocking Gear 4

Similar to Gear 5, you need to repeat the obtainment steps multiple times to unlock all of the Gear 4 skills. To get the first Gear 4 skill, you have to:

1. Defeat the Gear 4 Boss on Bubble Island
2. Obtain the Haki Book from the Gear 4 Boss, which has a 0.5% chance to drop
3. Once you have the Haki Book, you must visit the Poneglyph
4. Repeat the steps until you have all of the Gear 4 Skills

Regular Gum Fruit

To get the regular Gum Fruit, look under any tree you find. However, Gum Fruit is of the Mythical rarity, so it’s a rare spawn. All Fruit despawns after 20 minutes if not interacted with.

You also have a chance to obtain the Gum Fruit by rolling with Coins or Gems when visiting the Cynthia Fruit Dealer NPC. With this method, Mythical-rarity Fruit also has a 0.5% chance to drop. You can roll 10 times per day without Roblox Premium or the VIP Gamepass.
