The obtainment process for the Gilgamesh melee style gets a little complicated. With various steps to complete, lots of items to collect, and even some crafting, it’s a long-winded process in Sailor Piece.
I’ve also written some guides on how to unlock the Ichigo sword and both the Sukuna V1 and V2 specs.
How to Get Gilgamesh in Sailor Piece
The Gilgamesh melee style is of the Mythical rarity and requires the obtainment of a selection of items to be unlocked. The good news is that there are no connected questlines, so once you’ve got everything you need, you can get the fighting style straight away.
To start, you need to visit Boss Island to find the Gilgamesh Trainer NPC. He looks like Gilgamesh from Fate, including his golden armor and spikey blonde locks. When interacting with him, he tells you what he requires in exchange for the melee style.
These items are:
- 6x Ancient Shards
- Legendary rarity
- Has a 4.5% to 6.5% chance of dropping from the Gilgamesh boss
- 12x Throne Remnants
- Epic rarity
- Has a 11.5% to 20% chance of dropping from the Gilgamesh boss
- 1x Phantasm Core
- Mythical rarity
- Has a 0.5% to 0.75% chance of dropping from the Gilgamesh boss
- 3x Golden Essence
- Legendary rarity
- Has a 1.5% to 2.5% chance of dropping from the Gilgamesh boss
- Golden King (Title)
- This title has a 1% to 1.5% chance of dropping from the Gilgamesh boss
- Once equipped, you gain a 57.5% DMG buff
- 22.5K Gems
- 25 million Gold
As you can see, you need to farm the Gilgamesh boss quite a few times to guarantee all of the items. The thing is, Gilgamesh does not spawn after a timer runs out; instead, you need to use Divine Grails.
How to Summon the Gilgamesh Boss
These Divine Grails are obtained via crafting, with three required items. Once you have a Divine Grail, you can use it to summon Gilgamesh. Don’t forget the 500K Gold and 500 Gems, too.
How to Craft Divine Grails
The items you must collect are 3 Broken Swords. These swords can drop from any sword-wielding enemy in the game, but have a better chance with those of a higher level. This counts for both mobs and bosses.
After obtaining 3 Broken Swords (or more if you want to craft multiple Divine Grails), you can head to Boss Island. Here, the Divine Grail Crafter NPC can be found, who exchanges 3 Broken Swords for 1 Divine Grail.

Unlocking the F Ability
After unlocking the Gilgamesh melee style, I recommend working towards the F ability as soon as possible. This skill is obtained when using a Babylon Key, which also boosts your Gilgamesh DMG by 30%.
How to Get a Babylon Key
Babylon Keys are craftable items in Sailor Piece. The NPC you need to speak with is the Babylon Key Crafter on Boss Island, and he asks for:
- 5x Golden Essence
- Gilgamesh boss drop
- 2x Phantasm Cores
- Gilgamesh boss drop
- 100x Broken Swords
- Drops from mobs and bosses who use swords
- Servant (Race)
- Use Race Rerolls (it’s of the Mythical rarity, so you may have to reroll a few times)
Once you meet the requirements, you can interact with this NPC to craft a Babylon Key, thus unlocking the F ability for Gilgamesh.
