If you don’t know how to get Soul Fragments in Absolvement, this guide will help! There are various ways of obtaining Soul Fragments, which are key to upgrading your Absolvement character’s build. The more Sins you equip, the more Soul Fragments you obtain when you wipe, but which of the Absolvement Sins should you pick?
How to Get Soul Fragments in Absolvement
When you wipe in Absolvement, you earn Soul Fragments. I’ve mentioned it below in this guide, but you can increase the amount of Soul Fragments you get with Sins. Plus, the further you are into the game, the more Soul Fragments drop.
Other than wiping, you can also earn Soul Fragments by obtaining Potentials throughout the game, defeating enemies and bosses, solving any puzzles you find, and purchasing items.
Sins
The more Sins you have, the more Soul Fragments you earn upon a wipe. You can have up to 8 Sins, with each Sin adding a 4% multiplier to how many Soul Fragments you obtain. You choose your Sins when you create your character. It’s up to you if you want to pick 8 Sins; you can have just 1 if you wish to do so.
What Are Soul Fragments?
By spending Soul Fragments, you can obtain Soul Points. These Soul Points are then used to get passives from the Soul Tree by unlocking Nodes. The main passives range from increasing your Crit, Healing, Defense, and Speed. Though there are passives that buff your elemental skills, too, including:
- Frost
- Disease
- Lightning
- Shadow
- Earth
- Water
- Physical
- Nature
- Fire
- Wind
- Holy
- Shadow
The more Soul Fragments you have, the more Soul Points you get, making it easier to strengthen your character via the Soul Tree. It’s one of the main character progression features in Absolvement! The first Soul Point you purchase costs 500 Soul Fragments, which increases in price each time. There is a maximum of 35 Soul Points in total.
