Required Items

The items you need to collect before speaking with the Sung Jin Woo Teacher NPC are:

  • 1 Basaka Dagger
  • 1 Knight Dagger
  • 10K Gems
  • Monarch trait
  • Title: 2nd Awakening

Once you have these items, you can speak to the Sung Jin Woo Teacher on Starter Island to obtain the Sung Jin Woo Sword!

Basaka Dagger and Knight Dagger

The Basaka Dagger and Knight Dagger are potential drops from the Shadow Monarch dungeon. You can spawn this dungeon on Runes Island with 5K in-game coins and 3 Dungeon Tickets.

Monarch Trait

Monarch is an Exotic rarity trait.

  • Adds a 7.5 multiplier to your damage
  • Increases Sword by 10K
  • Increases DEF by 10K
  • Increases Strength by 10K
  • Increases Special by 10K
How to Get the Monarch Trait

Like all traits, you must speak with the Trait Reroll NPC in Frost Town. It costs 5 in-game coins to reroll your trait, which then overwrites the previous one. As Monarch is an Exotic trait, it’s one of the rarest traits to obtain in Verse Piece.

2nd Awakening Title

When equipping this title, you gain a 5x multiplier for your EXP gain, Gems, and Money.

How to Get the 2nd Awakening Title

First, you need to pick up the Jinwoo Quest in Karakura Town. Look out for the Sung Jinwoo NPC! The quest requires you to be defeated a total of 100 times by any player who has the Betrayer trait.
