Dig Emergency Flare
The Emergency Flare is an equipment item that you can use to automatically teleport back to Fox Town (the starter area). Between each use, there is a 60-second cooldown. Luckily, it’s a permanent item in your inventory once you get it, so it is not limited to a single use.
But why would you need this item? Well, sometimes you want to go back to a familiar spot where there are plenty of important NPCs like the Merchant and the Mechanic.
If you’re far away from your vehicle, it’s a great way to quickly get back to a safe area where you can respawn your car. It also speeds things up so you don’t have to make your way to a nearby town, especially if you’re far away, like at the top of Mount Cinder.
How to Get the Emergency Flare
To obtain the Emergency Flare, you must make your way to Mount Cinder. It’s in the Upper East area of the mountain, where you can purchase it for a total of 30K in-game coins. It’s quite an expensive piece of equipment, but worth it for the fast travel.
If you’re struggling to find the exact spot, just follow the pathway that goes up the mountain and make sure you’re going towards the East. The Emergency Flare is located on a higher part of the mountain.
You can get to Mount Cinder by travelling through the Rooftop Woodlands towards Cinder Approach. Follow the path and keep an eye on your map to see where you are! You’ll soon find a slope that leads you up the mountain.
