One of the quests in Dig asks you to dig three ghosts, but how do you get the Dig Ghost? Luckily, it has a few preferences that increase the chance of finding one. If you want to take on more quests, complete the Pizza Roller Shovel Quest and the Magma Boots Quest to get the Magma Boots.
How To Get The Dig Ghost
The Ghost is a legendary creature you can find in the Rooftop Woodland. If you’re anything like me, you picked up the quest and are now struggling to dig a Ghost! The description for these creatures is:
“Even though many see them as myths, Ghosts are real. They endlessly roam the woodlands hoping to find a purpose, peacefully drifting and groaning through the trees and fog.”
As they are a legendary rarity find, digging one may take a while. Make sure you’re using a shovel that has additional luck, such as the Luck Shovel, as this will increase your chances of finding one.
Ghost Preferences
Luckily, you don’t need to dig at random. Ghosts are found in the Rooftop Woodlands. However, there is an abundance of them in the Graveyard, which is also where you pick up the quest.
The Ghost also has a few preferences that increase your luck in finding one. If you dig in the locations listed above, but also in the Summer Season in Foggy Weather, you’ll be more likely to find one.
Why Do You Need Ghosts?
The most common reason you need to find a Ghost is to fill out and complete the Rooftop Woodlands journal. However, as I mentioned, there is also a quest that asks you to dig three Ghosts.
If you head to the Graveyard and speak to the NPC called Sam Colby, he will give you the GhostBuster Quest. For this, you need to dig three ghosts and speak to him again to complete it. As a reward, you will obtain the Ectoplasm Sleeve, which is a mythical charm.
