The Fisch Dreambreaker Rod is a great option, but it takes a while to get it. There are seven quests in total to complete, including catching a Lucid Leviathan! To start, you need to head to the Cultist Lair in Fisch.
How to Get the Fisch Dreambreaker Rod
To get the Dreambreaker Rod in Fisch, you need to complete all quests from the NPC called ‘The Restless One’. This NPC can be found in the Cultist Lair. After completing the questline, reaching level 500, and paying 10 million in-game coins, you obtain the Dreambreaker Rod.
The Restless One Quests
First Quest
- Return the Dreamer’s Amulet
To get the Dreamer’s Amulet, you need to complete all of the side quests that you can pick up from NPCs in the Cultist Lair and its sub-locations. After this, you can speak with the NPC called ‘Amulet’ to craft the amulet.
Second Quest
- Return a Lucid Enchant Relic
Enchant Relics can be caught in any location across the map in Fisch. However, to get an Enchant Relic with the Lucid mutation, you need to use the Lucid Rod. When using this fishing rod, you have a 20% chance of catching something with this mutation, which increases to a 30% chance when the weather is Clear.
Third Quest
- Return a Lucid Speed Core
To get a Speed Core, you must fish on Sunstone Island. This Exotic rarity catch has no other preferences! Like the Lucid Enchant Relic, you need to fish with the Lucid Rod to get the Lucid mutation for the Speed Core.
Fourth Quest
- Return a Lucid Cathulid
The Cathulid is an Exotic rarity catch from the Cultist Lair. It prefers Foggy weather, the Autumn season, and nighttime. For bait, you should use Squid to increase your chances. Make sure you’re using the Lucid Rod so that you have a chance of applying the Lucid mutation to the Cathulid.
Fifth Quest
- Return a Phantom Cathulith
Not to be confused with the Cathulid, the Cathulith is an Exotic rarity catch from the Passage of Oaths sub-location in the Cultist Lair. It has a higher chance of appearing during Foggy weather, the Spring season, and at night. Use Squid as bait to increase your chances!
As for the Phantom mutation, you need to fish with the Eidolon Rod, which grants a 35% chance of applying this mutation.
Sixth Quest
- Return a Lucid Leviathan or Profane Leviathan
To catch a Leviathan, you need to unlock the final area in the Cultist Lair, which is The Sanctum. Here, you can spawn Leviathan Hunts by placing the required fish on the pedestals.
The Leviathan itself prefers Foggy weather, nighttime, and the Winter season. The best bait to use is Luminous Larva! As you need a Lucid Leviathan, you need to fish with the Lucid Rod to get the mutation.
The Profane Leviathan is exclusive to Profane Leviathan Hunts, which have a 10% chance of spawning when the regular Leviathan Hunt is summoned.
Seventh Quest
This last quest isn’t really a quest, but it does have two requirements to complete. Firstly, you need to be at least level 500, and you must pay 10 million in-game coins to the Restless One. After this, you get the Dreambreaker Rod!
