Forsaken Taph

The trapper!

How to Play as Taph

Often compared to the Builderman, Taph focuses on placing down mines and tripwires to help teammates and attack the killer. Though, in his lore, he used to work with the Builderman to destroy buildings – it all makes sense now!

Moves

  • Subscape Tripmine
    • Control: E key
    • Cooldown of 40 seconds
    • Launch a Subscape Tripmine which turns invisible (sort of) once it falls onto the ground. If the killer stands close by to it (16 Studs), they are inflicted with the Subspaced and Helpless debuffs, which darken the vision of the killer and lock their camera in a random direction for a total of 5 seconds
    • Make sure you’re far away from the tripmine, otherwise, you will also gain the Subspaced debuff too
    • The mine lasts 300 seconds and despawns if the killer does not interact with it, or if you do not activate its detonation yourself
  • Tripwire
    • Control: Q key
    • Cooldown of 25 seconds
    • Place a tripwire on the ground, which slows the killer down (if they walk over it) and lets your fellow survivors know where they are. Taph only has 3 tripwires available, but once all 3 are down, the next one you place overwrites the first
    • The location alert only works for survivors that are standing nearby to Taph, and the aura of the killer is visible for a total of 8 seconds
    • The killer cannot attack the tripwire, otherwise it deals damage to them
    • The tripwire despawns after a total of 80 seconds

Taph Stats

  • Speed While Sprinting: 24
  • Normal Speed: 12
  • HP: 90
  • Total Stamina: 100
  • Stamina Gain (Per Second): 20
  • Loss of Stamina (Per Second): 10

How to Unlock Taph

You can unlock the Taph survivor by purchasing him with 500 Aura. The process of buying Taph is the same as buying any other survivor or killer!
